our mission

For almost 20 years, the Queens Consortium on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse (QCASA) has been a leader in substance abuse treatment, prevention, and recovery. We identify emerging trends, provide essential support, and foster collaboration among providers, consumers, and family members — all with the shared goal of helping those affected by alcoholism and substance abuse.

QCASA brings together treatment providers, prevention specialists, recovery advocates, and community partners with a vested interest in improving the lives of individuals and families impacted by substance use. Together, we work to provide education, resources, and support, with the ultimate goal of promoting awareness, unity, and social change throughout Queens County.

Our work is made possible through a strong partnership with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYCDOHMH) and the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS). QCASA is also active at the state level, participating in key workgroups and serving as a proud member of InUnity Alliance.
